Our Workflow – From Scan to CAD
- Capture: We capture precise point cloud and mesh data using world-class 3D scanning technology (e.g., Artec Leo and Ray II or any of our automated 3D Scanners).
- Import: The captured 3D scan data is imported directly into Geomagic Design X.
- Modeling: Our engineering team is responsible for reconstructing the part using either parametric or surface modeling techniques based on the geometry of the scanned project.
- Validate: The CAD model is validated with built-in deviation analysis to assess how well the CAD model fits the original scan providing the highest assurance on quality advances.
- Export: The final CAD models can be provided in Native SOLIDWORKs, NX/Invetor CAD Software, STEP, IGES (and other formats) that the client requires.
