Artec Eva 3D scanner is the ideal choice for those that need to receive a quick, textured and accurate scan. Eva doesn’t require markers or calibration. It captures objects quickly in high resolution and vibrant color, which allows for almost unlimited applications.
Artec™ Eva 3D scanner is similar to a video camera which captures in 3D. The scanner captures up to 16 frames per second. These frames are aligned automatically in real-time, which make scanning easy and fast. This is especially important for the creation of special effects, medical and biomechanical research. Because of the high quality, Eva’s textured models can be used in such industries as CG/Animation, forensics and medicine.

1. Press the Button
Point the scanner at the object and press the button. The scanning process will begin immediately. It’s that simple. Should something go wrong, audible and visual aids will guide you through the process, and ensure that you are scanning correctly.
Move the scanner around the object. Real-time surface alignment gives you a good understanding of what has been scanned so far and what still needs scanning.
Do not worry if you can’t get to a certain area of the object — you will be able to return to it later.
Make as many scans as needed to capture the whole object. If you need to turn the object over to acquire all sides of it, scan the whole first side, then stop, turn the object over and scan the other side.
Align all your scans together to get the full model. If something is missing, just scan that part again. To perfectly align many scans use our new optimizations algorithm. You can also place your model to the origin of a coordinate system.
Fuse all scans together to get a single triangulated mesh. Our Fusion algorithm will do it quickly.
You can optimize the grid, fill holes and smooth a surface. Many different tools are available.
Apply texture to your object automatically, with a click of mouse. The newest algorithms fully utilize the power of your CPU, so you may want to get the best one.
Export the result into one of several 3D formats (VRML, Obj, STL, Ply, Ascii, AOP, E57, PTX, E57, PTX) to work with a variety of 3D applications available on the market, such as Autodesk Maya, 3DMax, Autocad, Pixologic ZBrush, Blender, XSI, Mudbox, Geomagic, Rapidform and many others.
Moreover, you can export measurement data into a CSV file and print it.
